Nice to meet you  : )

Hi there,
I’m Natalia Kasatkina
[Engineer-of-ComputerScience-turned-UserExperienceDesigner-and-UserResearcher]

I work as a Senior Product Designer.
Love designing user interfaces and user experiences by juggling with various research methodologies.

My passion is about solving problems by striking to the right solution at the right time to bring the value to the organisation as well as to the end-user.
Let’s drive changes in products, services and processes together!

Responsibility as a Product Designer
  • Advocating for the users, but also for the company and organization
  • Balancing user needs, business requirements, best practice standards, platform guidelines, current trends and innovations
  • Have to toe the line carefully between business requirements and user needs to solve problems for the end-users and ship a high quality, user friendly, beautiful product
  • Overseeing the product from past to future. Understanding the business objective, budget, and others management things
  • Pave & design thoughtful experiences to ensure customers and users are satisfied when they’re using the product or service online.
Responsibility as a UX Researcher
  • Conducting usability labs, heuristic analysis, user interviews
  • Understanding the way people learn and work in order to design effective interfaces and better products
  • Make the right choice of method or combination of research approaches in accordance with the research question/objective at hand
  • Ability to analyse research results, and compile reports
  • Assist the entire User Experience (UX) team in understanding what would ensure that the consumer’s experience with the product feels more intuitive, fun, accessible, and quite possibly, magical.
Responsibility as a UX/UI Designer
  • Optimize a product (functionality, structure, micro-interactions & visual language) for effective and enjoyable use (digestibility, clarity, accessibility, trust, familiarity, delight, take the user’s side)
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems by understanding user’s needs and behaviours
  • Leverage user research and data to effectively influence product backlog.

UXD, UID and UXR intersect between each other.
Mentioned above disciplines have their place in the industry, but they need to be married together to bring the real value in the end of the day.
Dealing with the full spectrum of UX research and development,
I keep evaluating my Arsenal of Skills on quarter basis.
